As dear friends of Waverly and the McConnell family, we have created this fund to, in some way, offer support for their journey in fighting this horrendous disease. As you will most likely be aware, Waverly has been diagnosed with an aggressive type of breast cancer. The costs to Waverly and Sean have started to amass already, with the immediate need to harvest eggs to ensure their ability to have children in the future. This alone is costing them thousands of dollars. Treatment has started at Sloan in New Jersey and will last at least a year. Waverly is living in Oldwick with Beth and Dennis and Sean is commuting every weekend to New Jersey from Charlotte NC. I know they are all incredibly grateful to all of us for our support and any small donation to alleviate some of the financial burden will be huge for them!
