Support Our Waukazoo Woods Home Recovery Efforts

On May 15, Waukazoo Woods was devastated by a severe weather event. Thankfully everyone is okay, but our Post Avenue community is in ruins.

Our home sustained some damage, and our property is littered with at least ten massive, 100+ year old trees blocking the driveway and on top of the house.

The driveway is destroyed, and we expect insurance to deny coverage for much of the tree removal as most of the trees technically did not damage the home.

The purpose of this gofundme is to fund tree removal and replacement, which is estimated in the tens of thousands of dollars. Waukazoo Woods has been our home for 26 years, and we cannot envision being anywhere else. Although Waukazoo Woods will never look the same again, we plan on doing our part to nurture its regrowth and redevelop the thriving natural habitat.
