Support Watson's Vision Recovery Journey

Who doesn't love Watsie! All who have met this sweet boy know that he is an absolute angel! He has been my best friend and companion since the moment I brought him home! He has seen me through dark hours, scared nights waiting for Pet Scans, and brought a smile to my face when I needed it most. 2 weeks ago, Watson started acting funny. A visit to the vet initially left me feeling hopeful that he just had a sprained shoulder. The next day didn't seem as good after being on Ibuprofen. 24 hours later we went back to the vet who freaked out and said "he is blind, he is blind!" He then referred me to the ophthalmologist who confirmed the fact that my dog was blind but I needed to see a neurologist. A million dollars later it was determined that watson has an Auto Immune disease that caused him to go blind. The good news is that with steroids and antibiotics he gained his vision back. The bad news, it is autoimmune and he will need to be on drugs for the rest of his sweet life. The goal is to get him off the steroids, and several conversations has lead me to the middle of the road treatment. With this comes a lot of testing and medication. We also haven't ruled out an MRI (the small fee of $7000.00) but at this point we are working on meds at 300 a month plus testing of 400 every 4 weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated for me and my boy.
