Their home in the mountains in North Carolina was devastated by Hurricane Helene. Wataya is caring for herself, Jax, two old dogs, three old cats, and a lovely old man with a bad back, Charlie. These funds will help them with day-to-day costs as they evacuate and decide how to rebuild their lives.
