Hi everyone, my name is Liam Cashmore. As a quick back story, I created a golf league this year with 15 of my best friends, The Narrow Fairways Golf Association. Of which, six of us are running in the Seattle Marathon (or half) this November 30th. We’re all absolutely addicted to the game of golf and often mention how we wish we started playing sooner, as I’m sure many of you would agree. We decided that what better way to spend the holiday season than showing how thankful we are for the sport of golf, and to use the marathon to raise awareness for the work of the WA Golf Foundation and WA Golf Youth on Course.

WA Golf Youth on Course subsidizes over 80 courses throughout Washington and Northern Idaho who provide more than 9,000 junior golfers affordable access to golf for just $5 per round, more importantly, access to life changing opportunities through the game. This is all made possible through the generous support of Washington Golf Foundation and donations from our golf community.
