Hello, my name is Rebecca McKinley, and I’m honored to be the new principal at Washington Elementary School in Compton, California.

Our campus has a garden with 24 raised garden beds that have been unused for over five years due to the Covid Pandemic. Now, our students and teachers are excited to bring it back to life by restarting a garden club — a space for hands-on learning, growth, and community.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently have the resources to restore the garden or relaunch the club. That’s why we’re reaching out to ask for your support. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us rebuild this valuable space for our students.
