We are Team 12066D, a competitive VEX Robotics team based in Wasco, California, in Kern County. Our team designs, builds, and programs robots to compete at a high level while developing real-world skills in engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving.
We are proud to share that our team has qualified for and competed at the VEX Robotics World Championship—an achievement that represents countless hours of hard work, dedication, and innovation.
Unlike many other schools, Wasco High School does not currently offer a robotics program or provide students with the opportunity to participate in robotics. Because of this, we have taken the initiative to create and run our own team so we can still pursue our passion for engineering and competition.
As a private team, we are responsible for covering all of our own expenses, including robot parts, competition registration fees, travel, and equipment. These costs add up quickly, and we are working hard to continue competing at the highest level.
Our goal is to represent Wasco and Kern County with pride, return to top-level competitions, and inspire other students in our community to get involved in STEM.
Any support—big or small—goes directly toward helping our team compete, grow, and succeed. Your donation is an investment in students, innovation, and the future of our community.
Thank you for supporting Team 12066D!
