My name is Alexis and I am reaching out to ask for your support for my beloved husband, Warren Cartwright.
Warren is a proud husband, father, son, brother, and a genuinely loving human being whose life has been altered due to unexpected medical event. On January 21, 2025, Warren suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, which occurs when a blood vessel burst brain. He was immediately admitted to the ICU at Doctor’s Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas where he remained for several days. During this time Warren started to improve dispute having a seizure two days after his ICU admission. He started to regain mobility on his right side of his body and started to speak. He was eventually downgraded out of the ICU one week later. Despite this quick recovery, Warren suffered another setback shortly after being removed from the ICU. It was discovered that he developed a new acute kidney injury that required dialysis and that fluid was on his lungs resulting on him being placed on a ventilator to breathe. It was then decided that seeking medical treatment in the US was best to saving his life. He was airlifted on February 2, 2025 to the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fl where he spent two weeks in the ICU. He was treated for pneumonia, a bacterial infection in his blood, high fever, blood pressure control and received dialysis treatment.
He is now at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in Sunrise, Fl where he has started his journey of recovery. The stroke has left Warren with limited mobility on the right side of his body, difficulty speaking, and the need for intensive rehabilitation in addition to receiving dialysis treatment three times a week.
Warren has made noteworthy strides since his stroke. As we continue to pray that God will heal him to regain his strength, the road to recovery will be long and costly. Despite having medical insurance, medical bills, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and living expenses will pile up and create a financial burden.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in Warren’s journey to recovery. If you are unable to give, sharing this campaign would truly grateful.
We are humbled for all your kindness, prayers, and support during this difficult time. We ask that everyone
With love and appreciation,
Alexis, Sanaa, Gabriel, and Family
