My brother Warren Forrey is facing a challenging and painful journey after developing an infection in his prosthetic knee. Recently, he underwent the first of two major surgeries: the removal of both the infection and the prosthetic knee itself. In April, Warren will face another surgery to receive a new knee, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult.

The financial burden of this situation is significant. Warren will need medical equipment, medication, and supplies to support his healing. There are also travel expenses for treatment and daily living costs to consider, especially since Warren will not be able to work for quite some time. This extended recovery period is a real hardship for him, both physically and financially.

Throughout this process, Warren has been surrounded by the love and encouragement of his friends and family, many of whom have followed his journey on Facebook (and have seen the closeup photos of his knee!).
