It is with heavy hearts that we are raising funds for Waqar (21) and Kainat (19), two former Jefferson City Public School students who have just experienced an unimaginable loss.
Their mother was taken from them in a tragic act of domestic violence. Overnight, Waqar and Kainat not only lost their mother—but became the primary caregivers for their eight younger siblings, the youngest of whom is just 2 years old.
At just 21 and 19 years old, they are now faced with responsibilities far beyond their years while trying to process profound grief.
How the Funds Will Be Used
Your donation will go directly toward:
• Funeral and memorial expenses
• Immediate family needs during this crisis
• Support for the children as Waqar and Kainat work to stabilize their household
Every contribution—no matter the amount—will help ease the financial burden during this heartbreaking time and allow the family to focus on healing and caring for one another.
Why Your Help Matters
Waqar and Kainat are stepping up with courage and love, but they cannot do this alone. The cost of laying their mother to rest and supporting a large family is overwhelming, especially so suddenly.
By donating or sharing this fundraiser, you are helping provide dignity, compassion, and tangible support to a family navigating tragedy.
Please consider donating if you are able, and keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time for a young family in our community.
