Our family cat, Wander, has recently been facing a really tough health battle, and we’re reaching out for support as we try to give him the care he needs. We first noticed he was losing weight, and when we took him to the vet, they discovered a 4-inch mass near his bladder. After further testing, the vet diagnosed him with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a rare and often fatal illness caused by a mutation of the feline coronavirus. It can attack a cat’s organs and immune system, and without treatment, the outcome is usually very serious.

Because of this, Wander also became severely anemic. The vet told us he wouldn’t survive without an emergency blood transfusion. We were able to get him the transfusion, as well as testosterone and IV fluids, which stabilized him and helped him perk back up. But now we’re struggling to cover the cost of his ongoing medication, his special food, and the additional check-ups he’ll need to stay on track. Any funds raised would go towards this.

I don’t usually ask for help with things like this, but Wander means the world to us, and we want to give him every chance we can.
