Donation protected
This is me and my beautiful mother, Wanda Smith. Recently, she has been under the weather, feeling like she had the flu. Certain symptoms made us decide to have some lab work done, and a day later we ended up in the emergency room of our local hospital. Less than half an hour after we got to that er, mom's primary doctor was calling about those labs from the door before. With that conversation, our lives, mom's life changed. At 75 years old, all of that blood work has them diagnosing my mom with an acute leukemia. Everything was put in gear and the powers that be sent her to UNC hospital in Chapel Hill. They are running more tests to determine what type of leukemia it is and what stage it is in. Regardless, we know we have a long road ahead of us, on so may different levels. I have been directed to a few ways that we can start helping with medical expenses, so we know that anything will help. Of course, right off the bat, we know that the power of prayer will take us a long way, too. If you are willing, please share this page, too. Thank you for your time and consideration.
