My sister Wanda and her daughter Amanda were massively impacted by Hurricane Helene. As of today, Oct 15th, they are being told they shouldn't expect power until the 1st or 2nd week of November.

They live outside of Vidalia, GA, in a town called Ailey.

They have been cooking for 14 people over an open fire for weeks now and have to be deliberate in the generator use as diesel deliveries are very difficult.

They are going to need some assistance getting back up and running after losing their outer buildings and damages to vehicles and houses. Insurance will only cover so much.

If you know these women, you know they will never ask for the help... so I am humbly asking for them - just don't tell them!
