Support a Healthy, Pain-Free Life for Walter

Hi everyone! I'm Tyler, and my sister Tiffany and I set up this GoFundMe page to help my dog, Walter. A little over a year ago, Walter was a rescue that got loose from his owner and ended up finding his way to me. I put a message on Facebook asking if anyone knew where Walter's home was, and someone responded that it was their neighbor's dog. They said Walter was kept chained up outside in all types of weather, and when I found him it was obvious that he hadn't been fed in a while. He was skinny, dehydrated, and had very red blotchy skin with a lot of missing hair. A couple of Walter's bottom teeth are missing, which is likely due to him trying to eat rocks while chained up without food.

I've taken Walter to the vet to get his vaccines, but he's also had a skin condition that makes him itch constantly. He's developed raw hot spots that bleed, causing him to whine and scratch even more. You'll see in Walter's picture that his hair is missing or very thin across most of his body. The vet prescribed the needed antibiotics and medications, and I was able to give him a couple of months of this treatment but have not been able to afford the cost every month, despite working two jobs.

If you could donate even a little bit toward Walter's skin treatment, it would mean the world to me, and it would completely change this sweet boy's quality of life.

My goal is to raise $1,200 which would provide all of the medications he needs to stay itch-free and pain-free for the next 6 months.

For context, the medications he needs on a monthly basis are:

Apoquel, Cephalexin, Terbinafine, Omega-3 fatty acid liquid, and a medicated shampoo.
