Help My Dad Recover After a Devastating Kitchen Fire

On December 21, 2024, my father, Walter, endured a kitchen fire while alone. The fire left him with inhalation, facial, hand and feet burns. He has been in the Surgical ICU on a ventilator ever since. He has had complications such as pneumonia requiring continuous oxygen support. This nightmare has turned our families world upside down, and we are reaching out for help as he faces a long road to recovery.

Dad is a fighter, but his injuries are extensive. The burns require ongoing specialized treatments. He will need physical therapy due to his deconditioning Despite his strength, his recovery will be a slow and long journey.

Unfortunately, Dad’s health insurance is minimal and will only cover a fraction of the medical expenses. The costs for his care, hospital stay, therapy and even the basics like wound dressings and medications are already overwhelming.

Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but we can’t do this alone. That’s why we are asking for your help. Your donation will go directly toward:
