Hello, my name is Walter. I'm a cancer-surviving person. I've had my toes and half my left foot cut off and had five surgeries on it to get the gangrene out. I had three months of rehabilitation to learn how to walk and balance myself again. I've had chemotherapy and bone marrow cancer. I've had a bone marrow transplant and was able to donate my own bone marrow because they caught it early, so I was able to do that.

Now, my kidneys are failing because of the cancer and I need help with the medicine and medical bills. The chemo and cancer treatments are all paid for, but I wasn't expecting my kidneys to act up. Now, I owe the hospital money and my insurance will not pay for it. I need to take shots every month to keep my kidneys working and I've missed two shots already because I can't and don't have the money to pay. I wouldn't have a problem paying, but I can't work because I'm on disability and it's too hard to pay rent and buy food on a fixed income. So, if you could help, it would surely be appreciated.
