Support Wally and Anne's Medical Recovery

Donation protected
On July 8, 2024, my dad, Wally Wilson, was standing in line inside the Country Mile when he passed out completely and fell. He sustained serious compound open fractures to both his lower right leg bones at the ankle. He had emergency surgery later that day at Umass. During surgery, his heart rate dropped as low as 20bpm twice. After many tests the next day, it was discovered he had a problem with his heart's electrical system and required a second surgery to place a pacemaker. This was determined to be the reason he passed out and fell.

My mom, Anne, was not feeling well while this was going on. We figured this was from not eating or sleeping because of what was going on with my dad until Wednesday when she too ended up in the ER after her primary care Dr did an EKG and found she had an abnormal heart rhythm. They are both now home recovering. My dad cannot walk or put any weight on his leg and has a long recovery ahead of him. My mom is still weak.

These two medical issues combined have brought on increased costs to them due to new medications, equipment, copays, and deductibles. We would like to raise money to help them with these things and reduce the added stress of the financial aspect of this since neither of them are working. We appreciate any help. If you can't contribute, please share. Thanks
