Wallie Breaden runs Breadens Wildlife Rehab Center out of Lawton, Oklahoma. He has been rehabilitating wildlife animals free of charge since the 70’s, 50+ years. Wallie is now 70 years old and still finds so much joy in helping rescue and save animals. After his license lapsed in 2025, The City of Lawton went to his house and destroyed his property. Not only taking all equipment used for animals, such as fish tanks, pet carriers, pet food, etc. But also his personal belongings, such as his lawn mower, fruit trees, tools, etc. The City then is charging him $4,000-$5,000 in fees to pay a cleanup crew to clean the damage the city caused on his property, regardless of the fact that he is out hundreds in the loss of personal belongings. These donations are to reimburse and help Wallie financially as his whole life was turned upside down at 70 years old in the matter of two days!
