Hello family and friends,
My name is Wali Salahuddin, and at 75 years young, I am preparing for a mission trip to Ghana and other parts of the country that are deeply meaningful to my heart and my life’s purpose.
For many years, I have been committed to serving others and strengthening my community. One of the ways I do this is through African drumming, which I play regularly as a way to bring people together, promote healing, and celebrate culture. Drumming has been more than music for me—it has been a bridge that connects people, restores joy, and builds unity.
Now, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Ghana, where I hope to share this gift, learn from others, and be of service in a deeper, more meaningful way. This journey is not just about travel—it is about connection, purpose, and giving back.
As a retired individual, funding this trip on my own is a challenge. I am reaching out to my community for support to help cover travel expenses such as airfare, lodging, and mission-related costs.
No amount is too small, and every contribution brings me one step closer to fulfilling this mission. If you are unable to give financially, I would truly appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this message with others.
Thank you for believing in me and supporting this journey of faith, service, and healing through music.
With gratitude and love,
Wali Salahuddin
