My name is Florett Clarke. I am from the community of Wakefield in Trelawny, Jamaica. I am currently living in Bridgeport, CT. My relationship to the parties are my mom, brothers, sisters, and other relatives. I’m trying to raise funds for my relatives and community back home in Jamaica.

Due to the horrifying effects of Hurricane Melissa, many of my family members’ lives have been left in devastation. Relatives and members of my community have lost their homes and are in desperate need of necessities to restore the foundations of their livelihoods. Rooftops of homes have been torn apart, houses and communities flooded out, and many people have been left without basic necessities such as food and clean water. This hurricane has truly caused a lot of damage to the country of Jamaica.

It’s heartbreaking to see the condition my community has been left in due to the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. I am seeking your support and the funds donated will be used to provide relief supplies such as food, building materials, clothing, and other essentials.
