My name is Allison and I’m raising money for my dog Waffles. Waffles spent the first year of her life on a meat farm in South Korea before she was rescued and adopted. Since then, she has known nothing but love. Unfortunately, she was recently diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, a neurological disease similar to ALS, and likely only has a few months to a year left with us. She’s the sweetest dog who deserves the best care possible. I want her remaining days to be filled with joy, and that would only be made possible if we can get her the treatment she needs. Per the vet's recommendation, in order to keep her healthy for as long as possible, she spends two days a week being pampered with aqua therapy, acupuncture, and laser treatments for her spine. Unfortunately, she does not have any money of her own, and being a twenty-something-year-old, I can’t quite afford her new lavish lifestyle by myself.
