Hello everyone,
We are the family of Rami Abu Jalhoom from the Gaza Strip. This is our story in a few words but it does not express the pain inside us, like any human being who has rights in this world, We had our ambitions and dreams of a happy and reassuring life, far from fear, threats, and destruction, but everything has disappeared! The devastating war on Gaza began over a year ago. Unfortunately, no one was able to stop this aggression and the world failed to stop this ongoing war the danger surrounds us from several sides, ranging from displacement to the south (Rafah), where supposed to be safe zone but it’s far from safety, disease, inhumanity, insecurity, continuous hunger, and pollution everywhere, from water to food and high population density, as we did not find a place to resort to.
So we had to build a tent in order to protect us from the cold and the night. My father, who worked hard to build his future, his ambitions, and two homes, secured a decent and stable life for us, but the war destroyed all of this, and he is very worried about us and what will happen to our future if we remain in the Gaza Strip. My family consists of my father, my mother, and my siblings, all 9 people. My father is 55 years old and suffers from heart disease. We are here today to ask you, the remaining of the world: To ask you to help my family to regain her life.
