Support Wade & Amber Cappel on the Road to Recovery
As many of you now know, our dear friend Amber’s husband- Wade Cappel- was tragically shot multiple times last week in a shocking and senseless act of violence. Since then, he has already endured four major surgeries, with the strong possibility of more ahead.
Wade and Amber are hardworking, self-employed members of our community. Wade is a farrier, a physically demanding job that he can no longer perform after being shot in both legs. His injuries will require extensive healing, rehabilitation, and a long time away from work. Amber, understandably, needs to be by his side as he faces this difficult and uncertain recovery.
This devastating situation comes on the heels of years of hardship for this family. Just two years ago, Wade and Amber lost their home in a tornado and had to rebuild it from the ground up on their own. After pouring their hearts, savings, and countless hours into starting over, they had finally reached a place of stability. Now, in an instant, their lives have once again been turned upside down.
On top of the emotional trauma and fear they are carrying, they are now facing overwhelming medical bills and the loss of their household income. No family should have to worry about keeping the lights on or putting food on the table while fighting to heal and survive.
Amber deserves the chance to focus on her husband and his recovery—not on how they will make ends meet. Wade deserves to heal without the added weight of financial stress hanging over him.
Over the past few years, this family has shown incredible strength and resilience. Now they need their community more than ever.
If you are able, please consider donating to help ease this burden. No amount is too small—every dollar will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Wade and Amber in your prayers means just as much.
Let’s come together and surround the Cappels with the love, support, and compassion they so desperately need during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
