Support Wachong Vang's Road to Recovery

Our dad, Wachong Vang, is the heart of our family and a pillar of our community. He’s not only an incredible father who has always been there to support his children every step of the way, but also an amazing grandpa who adores his grandchildren and lights up every room he’s in. Beyond our family, he’s a force for good, always stepping up for others through his work in the Hmong community and helping families get through tough times. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have earned him the love and respect of everyone who knows him.

On November 16th, our lives were turned upside down. My dad fell down a flight of stairs at home and lost consciousness immediately. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was intubated, sedated, and diagnosed with severe brain injuries after a CT scan. We were terrified we might lose him.

By the grace of God, he survived. However, the doctors have told us, “He will not be the same after this.” Our dad now faces a long and difficult road to recovery, one that will change his life—and ours—forever.

Our dad has always worked tirelessly to provide for our family. As a CNC machinist, his job requires both physical and mental strength, and he won’t be able to return to work for the foreseeable future. With my mom unable to work, the mounting medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and day-to-day expenses are overwhelming.

We’re asking for your help to give my dad the best chance at recovery. The funds raised will go toward:

• Living expenses to ease the financial burden while my dad focuses on healing
