Hi, my name is Annie and I’m currently volunteering at a daycare in Arusha, Tanzania called Almo Day care.

I am working with babies from the age of 5 months. This has already been incredibly eye opening and I’ve seen firsthand how urgently these children need better support.

Right now, the babies are sleeping alone in unsafe bunk beds for over 12 hours at a time unsupervised. These beds aren’t suitable for infants, and it’s heartbreaking to see how vulnerable they are.

My goal is to raise enough money to provide proper, secure beds where they can sleep safely.

Another major challenge is the lack of basic supplies. There isn’t enough funding to provide nappies consistently, which means some of these babies go days without being changed.

I’m setting up this fundraiser to try and change that. The money raised will go directly toward purchasing safe beds and essential supplies like nappies, so these children can have the care and dignity they deserve.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference in their daily lives. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping me support these incredible children.
