Hello all! As some of you may know, Von unexpectedly went home early from work last Wednesday due to severe stomach pains. The next morning, he went to urgent care, who then sent him to the ER. Once at the ER, they did an X-ray and discovered he had a perforation on his colon. From there, they immediately admitted him to the ICU. Though he’s now out of the ICU, there is a lot that is unknown. As of now, he’s spent 4 nights in the hospital and will be there for the foreseeable future while they try to get him stable enough to either discharge him or perform surgery (we are hoping to avoid emergency surgery since that can be scary and complicated).

With that being said, it is my hope to help alleviate some of the financial burden for him, as he should only be worrying about his health right now. Von and my mom, Shelly have never been ones to turn their cheek on anyone in need and they would greatly appreciate any financial help that you are able to provide. He’s looking forward to the softball season and can’t wait to get healthy so he can shine on the diamond. Thank you all for your support and Go Griz! :)
