Support Volunteers' Mission to Honduras
Donation protected
This May, a group of 15 excited volunteers all from different parishes , have an opportunity to travel to Honduras and work with locals, making building improvements, helping at a local clinic, and fellowshipping with a wonderful group of kids. All this has been made possible by Father Andrew and the mission's Spiritual Director, Father Eugene, who has helped with the mission before. I mentioned my “bucket list” in several different conversations and it continued to only be a dream. After my fight with cancer, I told myself I wouldn't make excuses anymore, and with the encouragement of a mission priest who visited our community this pass summer Father Benjamin from Uganda, Africa, Encouraged me to put plans in motion and make it a reality.
I began to speak of my excitement with fellow nurses at work, and soon two of my colleagues decided to be part of this wonderful project.
Vanessa Ríos , Tonjia Stone and myself

Words from Vanessa
“I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to volunteer for a mission trip to Honduras alongside two amazing nurses. I’m so grateful to have met these ladies, and I truly appreciate their kindness, passion, and the shared sense of purpose we have for this journey. This trip is a wonderful opportunity to not only use my skills to help others, but also to learn and grow in new ways. I’m eager to see what we can accomplish together and how this experience will shape me moving forward.”
