In November 2025, our loving and ever-supportive dad, Vlado, suffered a stroke and ruptured brain aneurysm, resulting in brain damage amongst a complex list of other injuries. The severity of his injuries has placed dad on a long road to recovery. Our mom, Kristina, and all of us—Nikolina (daughter), Danijel (son), and Emilija (daughter)—have been by his side every step of the way and doing all that we can to support him throughout this incredibly challenging time.

We want to provide our dad with the best chances to meet his recovery goals through rehabilitation and to continue receiving treatment in the hospital. We have done everything we can to financially support my dad’s medical journey, but the financial strain is now overwhelming. Between hospital bills, specialist appointments, medication, and comprehensive therapy, we’re facing expenses of $50,000 a month that our family simply cannot cover alone.
