In March 2025, Vlad’s life changed in an instant. He was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive tumor in his maxilla—one that, while technically benign, behaved in ways that were anything but predictable. He faced surgery with courage, trusting it would bring relief and healing. But just five weeks later, that hope was shaken—the tumor returned, larger and more aggressive than before.
What followed were months of uncertainty, waiting, and relentless appointments as doctors searched for another path forward. Surgery was no longer an option. Since then, Vlad has been in ongoing treatment, enduring multiple appointments each month, holding onto faith and strength through an incredibly difficult journey that is still far from over.
Then, in April 2026, another devastating blow struck the family. After experiencing persistent pain, Max finally went in to be seen—only to hear the words no one is ever prepared for: “You have cancer.”
Just two days later, Max underwent surgery to remove the tumor. In an instant, everything changed. He now faces weeks away from work, focused on recovery and the fight ahead.
Now, this family is navigating two overwhelming battles at once. A mother is caring not only for her son, who continues to fight through ongoing treatments, but also for her husband as he begins his own journey with cancer. The emotional, physical, and financial strain is unimaginable.
They are doing everything they can to stay strong—but they cannot do this alone. If you have it on your heart to donate of any amount will be much appreciated and take some of the burden off
