Five-year-old Vjekoslav Ivanović from Berane, Montenegro, has been fighting the hardest battle of his life since March 2025. Due to pneumococcal meningoencephalitis, Vjekoslav is in a coma and is bravely fighting every day for a new breath, a new day, and a new chance at life.

His little body is enduring enormous challenges — he has a gastrostomy and a tracheostomy, which makes him completely dependent on constant care and the help of others. His parents, heartbroken and exhausted, continue to fight day and night, refusing to give up despite the overwhelming burden they carry.

Hope and faith keep them going — because Vjekoslav is a brave little boy who deserves a chance to recover. However, his further treatment and rehabilitation require medical care abroad, which demands significant financial resources that the family cannot secure on their own.
