Hi, I am Viviana and I’m currently going through surgery and about to start radiation therapy for cancer. The type of cancer I have is Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans, which is a rare cancer, and an even rarer one to get at my age (I’m 22!). Only about 1,000 people get it in the US annually. It does, however, have a 98% survival rate, and no matter how long and hard it is, I will be getting there. This is just the start of my journey, but I’m lucky to have a great support system along the way.
