Support Viviana & Her Family After Fire Destroys Home

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend and dental school classmate, Viviana, who recently experienced a tragedy that no one should ever have to endure. Viviana and her family lost their home in a devastating fire, which has left them displaced and living in a shelter in the Bronx. This includes her 3 year old daughter, mother, sister, and brother. In the blink of an eye, they lost not only their home but all of their furniture and most of their belongings.

Viviana is one of the strongest, most resilient people I know. She has faced numerous hardships with grace and courage, never asking for help and always finding a way to push forward. Even after this unimaginable loss, Viviana continues to come into school with a smile on her face, excited to care for her patients, balancing the needs of her family and her education with remarkable determination. But right now, she and her family are in a situation that requires more than just strength—they need the support of their community to rebuild their lives.

As they work to find a new place to call home and replace the essentials they've lost, I am asking for your help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Viviana and her family get back on their feet.
