Many of you may know Vittorio Emanuele as our local self-employed handyman and a friend always ready to jump to help those around him. It is now our turn to help him. Vittorio works endlessly to support his wife and three children.
On April 26th, while at work, Vittorio fell 16 feet off a ladder and was rushed to the trauma unit at Delray Medical Center. Our strong friend was in the Intensive Care Unit for about 10 days.
Vittorio sustained a collapsed right lung leaving him unable to breathe on his own, which led to a chest tube having to be inserted to assist with breathing. He also sustained a hematoma on his right lung and had to have a machine attached to the chest tube to drain it. He also suffered a broken collarbone and 6 broken ribs as well as a possible concussion.
Vittorio’s family has stepped up to do what they can to assist with his recovery. His wife is a full time mom that takes care of their sons in high school and elementary school. His daughter is a full time student at the University of Florida.
Vittorio Emanuele will be out of work for at least another month to heal from his accident. Because of that, and due to the fact he does not have insurance, we have created this page to help alleviate some of the financial stress and burdens off of this deserving family’s plate and for Vittorio to be able to recover without any additional stress.
We are asking for any help possible. We would like to thank you in advance for the generosity and love towards our dear friend, Vittorio Emanuele, during this difficult time.
