Support Vitti's Dance Studio Floor Renovation

At Vitti’s Dance Studio, one of our biggest insights during (and after) the pandemic is how important our studio is to the community. We are not only a place to dance and workout, but also a place to gather, make friends, have fun, forget about our problems, and feel the joy of human connection. It is for this reason that we now reach out to you to ask for assistance as we take on the huge undertaking of replacing our two main floors which have been damaged by water leakage over the past several years.

With the water issues addressed and corrected, we are going ahead with the floor replacements starting the last two weeks of August (2024). As our dance floors are the literal foundation of our business, much research has gone into various options for installation. In the end, it was obvious that to lay them down properly, we would need to choose the more expensive route to have the flooring sprung (install a sub-floor of plywood and furring strips). This would ensure a more comfortable dancing experience for our dancers/teachers/students and much better protection to our knees and joints!

The flooring was purchased and paid for in 2023, however the remaining costs for removal of the existing floors, materials (plywood, furring strips, carpeting, molding), and installation are currently estimated around $30K. We also anticipate another $5k-$8k for painting and other repairs/maintenance, as well as the income lost while we are undergoing renovations.
