After Hurricane Katrina, the City of New Orleans was in dire straits to rebuild the historic Farmer's Market. For 16 years, we've provided vegan and gluten-free options to locals and visitors from around the world. Our cafe is 100% Black, woman-owned, senior citizen-owned, and LGBTQ+. We are located in the heart of the historic French Quarter Farmer's Market. Now we need help.
Our kitchen needs vital upgrades - from cooling systems to safer prep space. During the renovations, we will lose revenue for up to two weeks. Restaurants can ill-afford such interruptions. Your support allows me to 1) keep staff on payroll, and 2) ensure that our kitchen meets the health and safety standards essential to public wellness.
We survived COVID-19. During COVID, we were able to provide a meal to a nominated first responder. We are unique. Our mission will always be to provide diners with special dietary needs safe meal options during their visit to the city of New Orleans.
