Please Support Vital Repairs for Our Home.

Hello, Everyone. My name is Dan.

My brother became our childhood home's caretaker after our mother passed away in 2018.

Then in 2019, my brother had a stroke. I moved back to Oklahoma during the height of the pandemic to watch over our home.

Since then, I've been doing my best to maintain the property. However, our decorative brick wall, built in the 1950s, has started to lean due to age, minor earthquakes, and natural settling. The wall now threatens both our home and a critical water line, and we're unable to cover the $2,000 repair cost on our own.

I have appealed to State Farm and they won't cover settling.

This home means the world to us, and we want to preserve it for years to come. We're turning to GoFundMe in hopes of raising enough funds to repair the wall and protect our home from further damage. Well, it has been a long day full of hauling bricks and miscommunication. BUT, a majority of it is finished. Bob---I can't remember his name, but is the builder. LOL---is coming back tomorrow to finish up some small things, but a majority of it is finished.
