Support Violette's Battle Against Thyroid Cancer

As I am writing this, I do not have words to describe the amount of fear and worry a parent would have, having been given a terrifying diagnosis for their child. And I cannot guarantee my words will do it justice.

Sherry and Martin Hernandez, got news that no parent wants or expects. Their 11 year old daughter, Violette, recently received a diagnosis that has shook our family to its core.

Violette was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Her treatment will be swift and aggressive. And her outcome looks very optimistic, however the cost of surgery and treatment is an astronomical financial stress that parents are not prepared to bear. Including their needs during her week long hospital stay, time off of work and countless trips to Primary Children’s. All the while doing their absolute best to be strong and supportive of Violette.

Violettes Surgery is on November 7 and we will be posting updates to keep everyone informed.

Our families would appreciate any donations to help ease the upcoming financial stress. As well as anyone who would be willing to share this for as much support and prayers we can get.

We’d also like to thank the amazing team of doctors at Primary Children’s who have tackled this so aggressively to get the very best outcome for Violette.
