Kanon was diagnosed with a Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG)—a rare and aggressive brain cancer, in June 2025. There is no cure and every day feels like a race against time. Kanon’s had multiple surgeries, treatments and hospital stays that have extinguished all of my paid leave and the generous vacation hours donated by my colleagues.

Kanon has been accepted into the BrainChild clinical study at Seattle Children’s. Which requires a 2 month stay and leave from work. 

Your donation will help cover the mortgage and bills, travel expenses for therapy in Seattle and help me focus on Kanon, instead of the financial stress.
