Hey guys, I just wanted to share a bit of personal info about my family. During a recent doctor visit, Violet has been diagnosed with a genetic disorder that’s affecting her overall development. Its called Digeorge Syndrome. I won’t be going into too much detail, but if you want to know more about please feel free to message me. It’s caused a delay in her learning to walk as well as her learning to start speaking. Naturally, all of this means meeting with various specialists that our insurance may or may not cover the full amount of.

At 5 months Violet was diagnosed with muscular torticollis, which resulted into Plagiocephaly. She had to wear a baby helmet 23 hours a day until she was a year old. She is undergoing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and will eventually start Speech Therapy.

Violet is about to turn two and to find out about this, was a shock. It answered a lot about her development but opened up a whole new round of questions.

I started this GoFundMe to help cover some cost for Violet’s upcoming medical bills. Violet‘s Journey is still just the beginning. We have a long road ahead of us, but we will continue to head towards tomorrow.

Violet is the sweetest little girl, she loves music and food. She has started to walk and now she’s got her footing. She is ready to go on a lot of adventures with her older sister Rosie.
