Help Support Violet Bernard’s Home Healthcare.
On July 16, our beloved Violet Bernard celebrated her 99th birthday surrounded by love and family. The very next day, on July 17, she was taken to the ER after suffering a compression fracture in her back. Since then, Violet has been hospitalized and in rehabilitation, but her health has declined significantly. She will now be transitioning into home hospice care.
Violet has spent nearly a century giving of herself — teaching, volunteering, and caring for her family and community. Now, we want to make sure she receives the same compassion and dignity she has always given to others.
Unfortunately, the cost of 24/7 home healthcare is overwhelming, at $400 per day (over $12,000 each month). To help cover her caregivers, medical support, and hospice needs, we have set a fundraising goal of $15,000, which will help to provide approximately two months of care.
We are reaching out to ask for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward Violet’s daily care. Even sharing this fundraiser with others will make a difference.
Your kindness and support mean the world to our family. Together, we can give Violet the comfort, dignity, and peace she deserves in this stage of life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Please help us get Violet home to spend her remaining time with her beloved dog, Sugar.
With Love,
Violet’s Family
