Michelle is creating this fundraiser for Violet, her beautiful, energetic, and kind 11-year-old niece, and for Violet’s family as they face an unimaginable crisis. On August 5, after finishing back to school night, Violet was walking to a friend’s house when she was hit by a car at the intersection of 64th & Holly in Commerce City. By the grace of God and the quick response of EMS, Violet was rushed to the hospital and received lifesaving treatment. She underwent emergency surgery to relieve pressure and stop active bleeding on her brain, and she is currently in a medically induced coma while holding stable.

Right now, the focus is on Violet’s recovery and on helping her loved ones stay by her side. Donations will help with the many upcoming expenses and support her mom, Amanda, and stepdad, Kris, as they remain with Violet during this critical time. Michelle and the whole family are also asking for prayers, as their faith is carrying them through these painful and uncertain days.
