Dear Friends and Family,

As my birthday approaches, I have a special request that would mean the world to me. Instead of gifts, I would be incredibly grateful if you could donate to this fundraiser aimed at helping animals in need.

My friends who are the funders of Dandi Animal Rescue Mission—a registered rescue organization in Tirana— have been working hard to rescue and care for abandoned, abused, and handicapped animals. Over the past 2 years, more than 300 animals have been successfully assisted and adopted abroad. Sadly, in a country like Albania, which has one of the highest rates of animal cruelty in Europe, many of these animals have little to no chance of adoption.

Several of them are now ready for their journey to rescues abroad—specifically to foster homes in Germany, the USA, and Canada—where they can find loving forever homes, forgetting the harsh life they had in the cold shelters. Without donations, we risk these animals losing their chance for a brighter future.

The pictures attached to this fundraiser showcase only some of the incredible animals who need to travel.
