My husband Cody and I, are reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during an incredibly challenging time for our family and our beloved pup, Vinny. Last night, Vinny suddenly began vomiting and showing severe signs of distress, including loss of color in his face, white ears, and pale gums along with bloody diarrhea. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where they found a mass on his spleen that is bleeding into his abdomen.

Thankfully, Vinny’s vitals were stable, but the ultrasound revealed that the mass is causing significant internal bleeding. The vet has confirmed that the mass is not spreading and he is safe to go into surgery to have it removed and a biopsy done. We are hopeful that the mass is not cancer and that he can continue to live a happy life with his sister, Violet.

Vinny has been my best friend since my college graduation. He has been with me through the highs and lows of life, and I cannot bear the thought of losing him without doing everything possible to save him. We recently moved to Kansas City for work and Cody and I are faced with the financial strain of a prolonged ICU stay and surgery to save his life.
