Support Vinny's Battle Against LCH

Update: April 2025- Vinny suffered a seizure due to complications from a viral infection. He is in so much pain and really having a hard time fighting off this infection. He is again admitted to SCH, even though we had believed our inpatient days were behind us. Please pray/send good vibes for my sweet baby boy who has suffered so much in his short life.

As of February 2025, after an extremely long and difficult road, Vinny has been given the okay by his primary oncologist to finally return home, while only needing to return to Seattle for “maintenance” chemotherapy one weekend per month. We have spent the past 9 months fighting for our babies life and living in hospital housing, and now we are asking for support one more time to bring our family back home! ♥️ Thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to support or pray for little Vincent.

In June 2024 we took Vinny for a routine appointment at Seattle Children’s Hospital, during which time I stressed health issues that have been brushed off and ignored by doctor after doctor. After many (many, many, many) tests, labs, imaging, and procedures Vinny was diagnosed with a rare disorder called Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) and we have been in the cancer center ever since. Vinny will have to undergo chemotherapy for at least one full year, and already there have been bumps in the road (issues with his permanent IV, his eye tumor not wanting to respond to the chemotherapy and then causing a bleed). We have spent almost every single day the past months either admitted or in outpatient housing, Vinny is not able to leave a certain radius of Seattle during this time. It has been an extremely difficult time, we had to give up our apartment and move our things to storage, live out of suitcases, get admitted on a moments notice, and watch my baby boy suffer day after day. ❤️‍ But each day he gets closer to the healthy boy he can and will be. ❤️‍

We are using this GoFundMe to help with expenses while he undergoes his treatments and to help with our sudden relocation. If anyone would like to help even in any small way we would be forever grateful. It helps us focus on Vinny’s healing instead of external stressors. ♥️
