Vincenzo Vecchiola, former owner of Buon Gusto Restaurant on Grand Avenue in South San Francisco for 40 years, was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia last year. His family tried to care for him at home over the past year, but he is at the stage where he had to be admitted to a memory care nursing facility in June of this year. The prices for his boarding and care are quite exorbitant. Due to Vince’s trusting and giving nature, and his prior to his diagnosis of dementia, he was taken advantage of by several people, which left him with very little savings. His family has been paying for his care out of pocket and with the help of this GoFundMe. Please donate if you can or share this fundraising link. Any little bit helps. Thank you!

Vincenzo has been in his new home for 3 months, and he's been adjusting as well as we could have hoped. We deeply appreciate the help from all who’ve donated.
Our family is doing the best we can to support Vincenzo financially and in other ways, but at this point we're at the mercy of this GoFundMe until we can get Vincenzo into a facility that accepts MediCal. However, this program has a 1 to 2 year waiting list and a long list of patients waiting for beds.
We've managed to get this far with your help. We're trying to secure every financial support available through private or government sources, but in the meantime, we ask for your continued support.
Thank you for your kindness and prayers.
