On December 5, 2025, a devastating five-alarm fire swept through a community where poverty is already a daily struggle. In the neighborhood of Villa Juana, Santo Domingo, over twenty families lost their homes—everything they owned reduced to ashes within moments.

This tragedy has deeply affected the entire community. Unfortunately, resources in underserved areas like this are extremely limited, leaving families with nowhere to turn. Many are now without shelter, food, clothing, and basic daily necessities.

With the holidays approaching, this loss is especially heartbreaking for the children. They stood helplessly as their homes burned. One child, only 5 years old, asked a question that has stayed with me: “How will I go to school if all my uniforms burned?”

I am pleading for your help—to give these families a chance to rebuild, to provide warmth, nourishment, and dignity during an incredibly painful time. Any support, whether big or small, can help restore hope.

Please help me help them! Your donations are truly appreciated and valued. Can’t thank you enough and God bless you all.
