Meet my extraordinary friend Vijayaraghavan Raghunathan, age 31 from Chennai, India who is battling a severe neurological condition.

On April 04th, 2024, Vijay was admitted to Kauvery Hospital located at 199, Luz Church Road, Mylapore, Chennai Tamilnadu, India with bilateral massive cerebellar and pontine infarcts. He underwent a lifesaving procedure posterior fossa decompressive craniectomy on April 05th, 2024. Given long-term ventilation, he underwent a tracheostomy and additional lumbar puncture to drain the brain fluids. On May 05th, 2024, he underwent another procedure DSA, and embolization on the lower abdomen.

The cost of Vijay's treatment is staggering and overwhelming for the family. We are raising this fundraiser to reduce the financial burden of the expenses for the family from these escalating medical costs.
