Support Vida Ashley’s Urgent Surgery for Vision

My name is Vida Ashley Leinyuy. Since I was just 2 years old, a tragic accident left me with permanent damage to the left side of my face and caused blindness in my left eye for 19 years. A botched surgery caused by doctors' mistakes also led to debilitating headaches and seizures, and my family spent years searching for treatment.

In 2023, during my third year of university, my health worsened to the point where I had to stop attending school. After seeking help in a new town, specialists diagnosed me with AV Malformation, an Orbital Roof Defect, and Edema. In March 2024, after exhausting all resources, my parents were able to send me to Turkey for surgery. Though the surgery halted my seizures, it resulted in the loss of vision in my right eye and left me with severe pain that has only worsened.

A recent CT scan and MRI revealed an Orbital Mass Tumor pressing on my optic nerves and causing further damage.

Tragically, the surgery in Turkey also damaged the vision nerve in my right eye, leaving me completely blind in that eye.

My only hope now is another life-saving surgery to remove the tumor and preserve what vision I have left.

But my family has exhausted all financial resources, and I'm unable to continue my education or live independently. The pain is constant, and my life has been on hold for far too long. l've never lost faith, and with your support, I can take the first step toward healing, regaining my independence, and restoring my future.
