Hi, friends and loved ones.

We could really use your help. A few years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver caused by fatty liver disease. At the time, we didn’t know what to expect, but today we’ve reached some great news: Dad is now eligible for a liver transplant.

Through University Health Transplant Institute’s Living Liver Donor Program, my sisters and I underwent evaluations to be considered, and April has been selected to be the donor for this transplant. The next step in our journey requires Dad, April, and various family to be in San Antonio for approximately 3 weeks. During that time, Dad and April will undergo surgery, stay approximately a week in the hospital and then need to stay close by the hospital to ensure there are no complications during recovery. Mom, Aubrey, Joey and Mike will be coming to assist us during our recovery.

We’re asking for support to help with lodging and travel expenses for our family. Your contribution will ease the financial strain and allow us to focus on fully healing and supporting each other.
