Hi, my name is Joseph, and I’m raising funds for my close friend Victor Hernandez, who is only 15 years old and lives here in Oceanside.

Victor’s life changed due to a tragic firework accident. An explosion occurred in his hand, causing severe burns to his hand, face, and chest, and tragically resulted in the amputation of his right hand.

At just 15, Victor is now facing challenges no teenager should ever have to endure — painful recovery, multiple medical treatments, emotional trauma, and learning how to adapt to everyday life all over again. The road ahead will be long and difficult, not only for Victor, but for his family as well.

We are asking for help to support Victor with medical bills, surgeries, rehabilitation, therapy, and future prosthetic needs, as well as easing the financial burden on his family during this incredibly hard time.

Every donation will go to his mother Julia Hernandez for his medical expenses no matter the amount, makes a difference.
